The Schmidt Family Foundation is a California private foundation formed in February 6, 2006 and organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The Foundation supports its environmental purposes through the active conduct of its own programs, as well as through grants to organizations whose missions are compatible with the Foundation’s.
